TDF Jewellery Designs is a small business which started out life as a home based hobby.
I design all my jewellery pieces and they are all hand made by myself.
A lot of my items are made in Fine Silver (.999) using a product called Art Clay Silver. Art Clay Silver is a pure metal powder mixed with non-toxic binders and water. When fired the binders burn away leaving 99.9% pure silver. An advantage of fine silver is that it is less likely to tarnish.
I also work in Sterling Silver (.925) and some of the pieces of jewellery on this site are made from this precious metal.
Some of my jewellery is adorned with 24ct gold using an ancient Asian metalworking technique called
Keum-boo where thin sheets of pure gold are fused to fine silver and I also gold plate some of my items with either 14ct or 24ct gold.
I am more than happy to discuss any item of jewellery that you are interested in having designed and made especially for yourself.
